Frequently Asked Questions

Is Tara for naturists only?

Yes we only cater for naturists.

Will I have to go around naked all the time?

Well, being naked is largely the point of naturism. However, you may, rather than must, take all your clothes off, taking the weather into account, and generally being sensible.

We have never visited a naturist site before, How would we get over our inhibitions?

We don't expect you to undress the minute you enter the grounds of the club on your initial visit, but in most cases you will quickly feel the relaxed atmosphere and see how comfortable naturists are with one another.

At Tara, most sites are bordered by hedgerows and shrubs, so that the timid naturist can enjoy sunbathing in relative privacy, if required. Then, when any initial modesty has been overcome you will experience the freedom of naturism.

What will people say when they find I'm a naturist?

They won't unless you choose to tell them. Other naturists are, of course, fully understanding and would want to protect your enjoyment of naturism rather than jeopardise it. People are usually interested in the subject, and naturism is something to be proud of. Tara is completely private and protected from any 'prying eyes'

Do you cater for swingers?

Absolutely not! Our guests and members do not visit our club for sexual stimulation. We are a respectable naturist club and would advise you to look elsewhere if this is what you are looking for.

Are children welcome ?

Our site is predominantly aimed at couples. Families are welcome but we expect children to be fully supervised at all times.

Do you allow pets?

Unfortunately we do not allow pets.

Can I visit for the day

Unfortunately only club members can visit for the day, unless you are a guest of a member. If you would like to enquire about becoming a member, please contact us.

Do you accept single sex groups

Unfortunately we only allow couples.

If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to contact us.
